  1. i made my first confession in May of 1944 and never in all that time have i ever heard of a priest refusing to hear someone's confession. I am thankful i live in a parish where the scheduled time is posted in the bulletin each week...and not just the time...there is also a notation that confession is available ANYTIME by appt. There are parishes where there is no regularly scheduled time and i wonder if that adds to the current day attitude that it is not a very important sacrament.
