  1. Question - Somewhat off topic (I really hope it is when it comes to Syria)

I had a debate on strangenotions.com with several Catholics about my pet peeve (okay one of them) that too often Catholic ethical teachings or media treatment of Catholic teachings concentrate too much on sexual issues and that if more discussion were on non-sexual morality non believers and believers might realize that they do have much in common. Long preamble to my question. I raised the issue of the Iraq war and how the Catholic Church said that is was not a just war and that many atheists would agree with that. I had much disagreement on this among Catholics.

Is this a valid interpretation of this document ( http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/secretariat_state/2003/documents/rc_seg-st_20030219_migliore-security-council_en.html )?

    Thanks
