Ohio LGBT Group Announces Plans to Target Churches for Homosexual Weddings

So let me get this straight. If the KKK wanted to rent the facilities of a black Baptist Church to hold recruitment meetings, the Church would be obliged to rent it to them? I would think such a request would be met quite appropriately with outrage by Ohio legislators... and rightly so. So how is this situation materially different from a Christian community refusing to rent its facilities for an activity that fundamentally contradicts its beliefs? It might seem like an odd analogy to use to illustrate my point, but I think it is perfectly apt. The KKK is a legal organization permitted to hold recruitment meetings just as an LGBT group is legal and allowed to celebrate a marriage. So why would the former case be offensive to the point where a church would be protected from renting its facilities while the church would be forced to do it?
